Getting to Know Jason Wachtl, Class "A" PGA Golf Pro
Jason Wachtl comes to BDM as Head Professional, and received his PGA Class "A" ranking in 2003 and is certified in Golf Operations, General Management & Golf Instruction. Jason grew up in the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York and attended Pennsylvania State University. Jason graduated from the Professional Golf Management Program at Penn State in 2001 and started his career at Essex Country Club in Manchester By-The-Sea, Massachusetts. Before coming to Butte des Morts Country Club, Jason was the Head Golf Professional at the Ottumwa Country Club in Iowa and the First Assistant at Glen View Club in Illinos and North Shore Country Club in Wisconsin.

Getting to Know Kari Wachtl, Class "A" PGA Golf Pro
Kari was born and raised in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and attended Charleston Southern University in South Carolina, where she was a member of the Division I Women's Golf Team and was a 4-time All Big South selection. After college, Kari began her professional career as a Teaching Professional at Kiawah Island Resort. After leaving Kiawah, Kari got into the private sector and has worked at some of the finest clubs in Boston, Chicago and Milwaukee. Kari is a PGA Professional and has achieved PGA Certified status in Instruction and focuses much of her attention on the women and junior programs at Butte des Morts Country Club. Kari and Jason have been married since 2003 and have two children.

Getting to Know Kate Chybowski, Tennis Pro
A tennis enthusiast, Kate grew up in Appleton and started playing tennis at Butte des Morts, which inspired her to persue her passion for tennis. She went on to play high school tennis at Appleton North High School and placed third at state her senior year. Now the tennis pro at BDM, Kate's past achievments include:

• Received a tennis and academic scholarship to the University of Evansville (UE) in Indiana
• Broke two school records for most combined singles and doubles wins and most victories at UE
